Hosting Terms & Conditions

These Hosting Terms (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you (“the Client”) and Shaun Lawrence trading as Innuvo (“we”, “our”, “us”) in relation to hosting, email, and domain services. By using our hosting services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Hosting Services

  • Website hosting
  • Domain registration/renewal
  • Email hosting
  • Security updates and daily backups (if hosting with us)

2. Uptime and Backups

  • Target uptime of 99.99% (not guaranteed).
  • Daily backups provided, used for restores if required.
  • No liability for downtime, data loss, or lost revenue.

3. Payments

  • Hosting billed monthly or annually in advance.
  • Invoices must be cleared before renewal dates to avoid suspension.
  • Hosting fees are non-refundable once paid.

4. Termination and Transfers

  • 30 days’ written notice required to cancel hosting.
  • £50 admin fee applies for preparing site backups for transfer.
  • We will assist with domain unlocking/IPS tag changes.
  • We do not handle file/email/domain migrations beyond making data available.

5. Software Licences

  • Plugin/software licences remain active while hosting with us.
  • If hosting is moved, licences remain valid for 12 months before requiring the client to purchase their own.

6. Data Protection

  • We comply with UK GDPR.
  • Hosting data stored in the UK.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their sites comply with GDPR and privacy requirements.

7. Limitations of Liability

No liability accepted for downtime, lost data, or loss of revenue. Maximum liability is limited to the hosting fees paid.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be attempted via mediation before legal action.
